Upcoming Trek '09
Trip dates for Trek '09 will be June 23-July 5th. The estimated cost is $3300.00. Each participant is expected to pay or raise at least half of their trip expenses. We will also hold a fundraising banquet, and additional donations can be raised by writing support letters. The Trek '09 team will consist of students, teachers, medical professionals, local church leaders, and any interested, caring citizen. Applications are due to Wendy Dean by Jan 15th.

Trek '08 Report
This past summer, on July 28th thru August 8th, a team of 13 community members, ages 17 to 70 years from Arvada, Colorado and surrounding areas, traveled to Malawi, Africa to focus on several on-going efforts primarily in the village of Mtsiliza. Sub-Saharan Africa is home to three fourths (121 million) of the world’s population living in extreme poverty, more severe than any other region in the world.* Over 1,300 pounds and $10,000 worth of supplies were collected, transported and delivered. Moreover, many years of specific training and expertise were shared resources.
