Community Treks Update

Thank you all for coming to the banquet the “Warm heart of Africa”. It was a huge success. We raised over $15,000 thanks to your generous support! What a fun evening broadening our awareness and meeting each other. It is so wonderful to see all the different ways the community comes together to support what we do. Thank you thank you!

We are currently training our team for Trek 2008! We have 14 people going this year all a neat combination of our community. We have medical professionals, teachers, students, faith community members, and caring citizens who all want to make a difference for Malawi!

In October Maureen will be here from Malawi. Maureen is a student that we gave a scholarship to last year. She is on a US tour with Children of the Nations and will be here to share with our community her story and what an education means to her. We will keep you posted about the dates and events planned while she is here.
